Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Moments mobile app and the try-moments.com website (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Moments helps you plan dates, hangouts, and trips, then prompts you to capture photos during the plan and saves them in a recap. The Service is offered free of charge during the beta period and may introduce paid features in the future.
2. Accounts
You must provide an accurate email address. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Hapus akun).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload photos that contain illegal content, sexually explicit content, hate speech, harassment, or anything that violates the rights of others.
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
- Attempt to access data belonging to other users without their permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content within the Service for the sole purpose of operating it for you and the people you share plans with.
We do not use your photos to train AI models. We do not sell your photos.
5. AI-generated content
Plan suggestions and capture prompts are generated by AI models (currently OpenAI and Anthropic). They are best-effort suggestions and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for deciding whether to act on them.
6. Third-party places
Some place suggestions come from Google Places. We do not control those listings, hours, prices, or availability. Verify details directly with the venue before relying on them.
7. Reporting and moderation
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Terms, contact support@try-moments.com. We aim to respond within 24 hours and may remove offending content or suspend accounts.
8. Service availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, especially during the beta period.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indonesian law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Jakarta.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
